I have been doing art since 1966 and have always been interested in the ways things can be depicted. I try to evoke a sense of depth, of complexity, of spirit.

I often combine images together and try to improve the representation of each image within the total work, seeking to make them more ‘acceptable’ to each other.

My output is about different ways of depicting thinking, remembering and seeing, with reference to art of the past and to fantasy, sexuality, mythology, religion and history.

I realize that I have the freedom to think about past events and eras, about present reality, and to engage in pure fantasy. My goal is to challenge myself technically while staying connected with what is unfolding in front of my eyes, to give birth to something that has not previously existed.

I have always been a  collector. My mind is filled with images, ideas, references, words, slogans, random memories, and things I encounter.
